Our Past

My Family and I live on a small farm located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. I am the third generation of my family to live here. My Grandmother recieved her first collie over fifty years ago. Her name was Whitie! From that day forward Collies have been apart of our family. When I was a child my Grandmother had a sable and white female named Buffy who was a wonderful dog who gave me rides on her back around the farm daily. When I turned four, my grandmother took me to pick out my very own collie puppy. It was a hard decision, however I picked a wonderful sable and white puppy which I named Lady. Lady was my best friend as a child always waiting each day for me to get off the school bus. Then Lady and I would watch Lassie every afternoon at 4:00 and then head out to the sand box to play. I could not imagine a childhood without a wonderful collie.

Our Present

After several years of not having a collie around and before my wife and I had our first child I knew it was time to purchase a collie. I knew I wanted my children to have the same experience with a collie as I did as a child. After the purchase of our first collie I was hooked again. This time however I knew I wanted to do things a litlle different. After activly showing livestock and judging in highschool for FFA I thought maybe showing collies would be a great experience.  An experience which has turned out to be very rewarding. I was blessed to find two great mentors. Nancy Parsons and Dona Williams. Nancy and Larry have been wonderful to work with. No matter how many questions or concerns I have they are always there to help. I also owe a thank you to all the people who helped me at my first shows and a special thank you to Dona Williams who has taken me under her wings. Matter of fact I call her Mama Dona.
